STEP 1
Submit
A custody event is captured with actor, location, and timestamp through the UI, API, or LIMS integration.
STEP 2
Hash
A SHA-256 digest is computed deterministically from the canonical record — including the previous event hash, forming an unbroken chain.
STEP 3
Anchor
The hash is committed to a Polygon smart contract. Average confirmation time is 2.1 seconds. We absorb the gas fees.
STEP 4
Verify
At any time — or on every export — we re-hash the live record and compare against the on-chain commitment to prove integrity.
